Youth Culture Engagement
We Are No Different is a UK-focused organisation supporting young people to access employment, training and mentorship in the creative industries.

Who we serve
We are inspired by young people, and provide them with a platform to promote their talents and explore their creativity. We curate courses and skill-based learning programmes that supplement education and academic learning.Throughout the duration of our courses and beyond the young people receive mentorship from industry professionals working in their desired sector. It is vital that the most deprived and overlooked have equal access to their chosen pathway into the creative industries. We believe that no young person should leave further or higher education overqualified and under-skilled.
What we offer
Skills-Based Learning: Practical courses that complement academic education, ensuring young people develop the real-world skills employers actually need
Industry Mentorship: One-on-one guidance from professionals working in film, design, music, digital media, and other creative sectors
Career Pathways: Direct connections to employment opportunities through our extensive network of industry partners

Our impact
With our industry and community partners, we amplify opportunities for marginalised young people and ensure they enter into employment with confident experience, appropriate education and the acquired skill set to thrive. Our participants don't just graduate — they launch careers. We're transforming the "overqualified but underskilled" paradox that leaves too many creative young people unemployed or working outside their field of passion.
Fresh Perspective
We Are No Different's approach is founded on Marcus Leon's firsthand experience. Through studying for his Masters in Youth Work and years working in Youth Work, Education and Community Development he witnessed talented young people being systematically excluded from opportunities.

Get involved
Together with our community and industry partners, we're creating a more equitable creative sector — one young person at a time.
